When a client submits their passport, their I-94, their tax returns — those files travel from their device to your cloud storage. They pass through IntakeIQ's servers in transit only, then they are gone from our infrastructure permanently.

The same is true for conversation transcripts, intake summaries, and signed engagement letters. IntakeIQ stores a pointer — the file name and its location in your storage. The document lives in infrastructure you already use and already trust.

If IntakeIQ's database were breached tomorrow, an attacker would find names, phone numbers, and matter types. Not your clients' immigration records. Not their criminal history. They pass through IntakeIQ's servers in transit only. Nothing is written to IntakeIQ's disk, and nothing is stored in IntakeIQ's database beyond the file name and its location in your storage.

When an intake completes, you receive an email with a summary and three buttons: Invite to Consult, Decline, and View Full Summary. Tapping Invite to Consult sends the prospect a scheduling link automatically. Tapping Decline sends them a warm notification that you are not able to take their case. You never have to log in — the decision happens from your email. If you prefer, you can configure IntakeIQ to automatically invite strong-fit leads and reserve the decision step for possible-fit cases.

Yes. IntakeIQ's e-signature captures the signer's typed name, timestamp, and IP address, and generates a signed PDF with a full audit trail. This meets the requirements of the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), which govern electronic signatures in all 50 states.

Or a staff member can complete a guided intake form in the IntakeIQ dashboard during the call — the AI generates the same structured summary from the answers.
